Just noticed this was upper and lower. I'm in, at least for the Upper. Will be at Reedy at 9:30 to help shuttle as needed.

I'm thinking about dragging my roommate out there tomorrow morning. He's questionable, but I'm definitely up for a trip. I would be thinking 10-11-ish for a start?

Made that trip for a PFD on Back Creek, in the middle of a crazy spike. A little intimidating for a first trip in about 8 months, but very fun!!!

I'm a newbie to Coastals, but would like to join you this afternoon. 6 yr ago was a solid intermediate paddler, but dropped out after a near death experience. But once a junkie always a junkie, so trying to get back to getting wet frequently. Been out a couple of times this year, but more is better...

Various lakes around are nice for flatwater kayaking, including Pocahontas State Park. For the James, you can go downstream from the 14th street takeout all the way out to the ocean, if you want to :) Since it is tidal, it's best to time it with the tides. Also on the James, Huguenot Flatwater down ...
