Blue Ridge Thursday?

Post by bambam »

It's a little early to tell but creeks are rising out here and more rain is on the way. Watching stuff day-trip-able from Harrisonburg. Let me know if interested.

I'm rather much completely flexible.

It's raining pretty hard here right now on my side of the mountain.

I'm good for anything, but I have to be in C-ville by 2 tomorrow. You want to just call me tomorrow morning and go from there? I'll pack up the gear and be ready for a fast get away tomorrow morning if your game.

We cross-posted, meaning I was typing mine while you were posting yours.

Assuming you mean upper Piney. Ran it once, enjoyed. Don't know how to gauge.

Let's check gauges in the early a.m.

(Throwing gear into the car now.)

Sounds good. I'm not stuck on the piney, but the AW gauge looks like it might run tomorrow. In the past I've found 350 is good 500 is better and 800 is BIG.

Lets play it by ear tomorrow and see what is running.

I will most likely be making a second run on something slightly easier, like the upper Tye, later in the day if anyone is watching.

540-578-5523 but coverage will be sketchy once we get out there.

Ken, any chance you'd want to get on the Maury for an afternoon paddle? Looks like it'll be runnable..Maybe even boofable..
Will you post in the morning what you're running? I may take the day off and catch up with you for a morning paddle as well. I'm flexible tommorow.
