Late afternoon paddle and a Legends run? 8/28 4:15?

Post by babewithblades »

I am really after a beer run and an excuse to get a bit tipsy. Proposed plan:

1. Depart 14th Street at 4:15 for a 4:30 Reedy Creek departure.
2. Paddle the James at 4+ish feet because I have not done it in ages
3. Finish the paddle with a trip to Legends and see if they still have my mug on the shelf.

Calling out other boaters who have been neglecting their boats and mugs to join me for an afternoon of juvenile time wasting.

I'll be biking with the hubby in the AM (his leg is not 100% healed so we will not be subjecting him to the bacteria of the James River) so I am looking for surrogate hubbies for the PM. Dave, JR, Scooter, Wallace, Guy, TommIE, or Fats Douglas will do...................Call me on the cellular or post here.
:D :D :D :-P :-P :-P bn  bn  bn  bn

Sorry kid, I'll be getting ready for a week in Corolla.

Have fun
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke

Good luck finding those surrogate hubs, they've fallen off the face of the earth. Except for Fats and Scooter. :D
