Some guy on another thread "said" it would be "awful sweet" if there was a thread for an alternative trip on Sunday, well here it is
I am personally hoping to paddle something besides the LY on Sunday (advanced level)... Cheat Canyon is nice, UY Fish-release/TY/LBS/etc would be nicer, The Tygart watershed is also not that far away - and hell I could head towards NRG/LG/UG as well if flows merit.
Drop a line if you might be interested in joining.
Way to step up Big Mike! If the Top Yough or LBS miraculously runs, I'll likely be headed one of those directions. I've kind of been looking forward to spending some quality time in the small boat at Swimmers though, so I'll see what happens and react. Thanks for posting!
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke
I'm not going to be able to make this trip because I'm going to be in Belize, but if I was I would be having a huckfest on valley falls on sunday. Just saying.
