OCT - Tohickon Creek (PA) & NYC Food Tour 11/1-2

Post by Mango »

Mangles will be Coordinating the Tohickon Creek Trip on November 1st and 2nd.
This will be done in conjunction with the NYC Food Tour (Tom Wood).

The Tohickon is a class 3 creek with a lot of play spots.

The plan is to meet early (time to be determined later) and get 2 runs in on Saturday.
Go back to the hotel and clean up.
Then jump on the train to NYC for the Food Tour.
Katz Deli ( http://katzsdelicatessen.com/ ), Lombardi's Pizza ( http://www.firstpizza.com/ ) and Ferrara Bakery & Cafe ( http://www.ferraracafe.com/home.php )
were on the list last time we did this. These could change and we're open to suggestions.
Take the train back to (near) the hotel.
Get a run in on the Tohickon on Sunday morning before heading home with a possible stop in Philly at
Pat's ( http://www.patskingofsteaks.com/ ) and Geno's ( http://www.genosteaks.com/ ) for CheeseSteak.

We will be staying at the:
Red Roof Inn Princeton
3203 Brunswick Pike
Lawrenceville, NJ
08648

Grab a Paddling (Foodie) friend or 2 and share a room. Come join us, while we catch every  eddy and surf every  hole, then Eat Eat Eat.
Lime Green Bags with Pink Polka Dots are optional!   :D

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!
