I would like to paddle the Lower James on Saturday around 11 am or so. Would that work for you?

I just looked at the river forecast, it looks like the river will be pretty high. I am up for a high water downtown trip, but I would prefer to play at Pony Pasture if the wave and play hole come in.

Hey Mike,
I would be up for getting down on the lower tomorrow maybe about 11:00 or so. What are you thinking?

I'm interested in paddling downtown Sat. morning before the level comes up too much. I'm open for an UJ run, too. It's not often we get to paddle snowmelt here. The air temp is expected to remain above freezing tonite.

UJ around linch time?

Have not looked at gauge, but would be interested in an upper run, possibly followed by lower if levels don't peak

Anyone interested in the upper tomorrow at 9 or 10?

I propose to meet at Reedy at 9 AM Saturday for an upper run. If levels are still within comfort range, continue down to 14th St, possibly joining with any 11 AM LJ paddlers. Possible alternative of another UJ run at 11 if level is too high for comfort.
Any takers?

Reedy at 9 AM for any early birds who want to run the upper. Chris and I will be there, and we'll likely do a second upper run, but not the lower. ETA at Reedy for the second run around 11 AM.
