LY at long last...

Well, after 8 months of trying to get up there, I finally made my pfd of the LY. HUGE thanks to my BRO and young James for making the trip and keeping me pointed in the right direction.
Despite an iffy forecast: snow, temps in the high-20’s to low-30’s, and low water ~1.4’, they stepped up to get me down. Turns out, the snow was just an accent and inconsequential, the temps were in the mid-high 30’s, the river came up to 1.75’, and we had a fantastic paddle!
What a fun river! Highlights were making my pfd with my Bro & James, the great boof somewhere between C&W and Railroad, practicing strong ferries in Cucumber, the Frog’s Back, Swimmers, getting my bow on the foam pile of hole #2 after missing the s-line at Double Hydraulic, and the DQ Moolatte.
Lowlights: missing the s-line @ DH, the not-nearly-a-smear @ BofW, and the silly curler that I let stern flip me—ending my dry hair day!
Thanks again to Brandon and James for the fellowship and wary eyes, and to KessmanN for letting us use his angry abode!
Look forward to the next time!
