Post by Gina »

Looking to go on my first club trip and trying to contact Larry Gross for the Back River trip tomorrow (15th). Can't seem to locate an email for him on the site. Can someone help me out.
Thanks

go back to the homepage and click the trips link. There is a list of names and an e-mail link for Larry.

Or just click this http://www.coastals.org/trips/

Hi Gina and please feel welcomed. I'm the guy who publishes the scheduled club trips.

...........................................

I've typed and deleted twice now trying to not sound discouraging.

...........................................

Short version is you need to look for another paddling option for Saturday. Back Creek / Jackson River both are low right now. Larry's trip mostly fizzled but there are a few folks already camping in the area just-in-case-it-rains (which it might) and I don't have a good way of reaching them.

Assuming you found the trip here:

http://www.coastals.org/trips/

If so, you can scroll down the page to find a link to the coordinator (assuming we've kept the list up to date!). Direct email addresses and telephone numbers are published in the newsletter for Coastals members as we try to respect privacy.

============================

Please introduce yourself, perhaps in the Lounge section, telling us where you live, what sort of water you like to paddle, experience level, ... , stuff like that.

Thanks everyone for the tips. I found some people heading to WV tomorrow instead hoping on a possible trip. But will keep posted to hit the water with some coastals next time.
