Hey #1 Diamond Man
As I read the posts the only trip as of now is scheduled to run the upper James, meeting at 12 noon at Reedy. It looks like there might be someone playing at Pony Pasture an hour before that. No trip is currently posted to run the lower or the whole thing.

Lower Run
Karl and I will handle the Lower James run at 12:00p. (do not want to do later cause I need to shower prior to party). We'll plan to DEPART take-out at 11:45a sharp and depart Reedy around 12p. Questions can be sent to my cell 804 five zero three 0166. Level will be 7.9-7.5 according to the forcast. (yes I am a time czar)
David: sent you a PM but still need address or directions for gathering.

Thanks Karl and JoAnn for taking on the downtown run. I just called JoAnn with directions to my house. I had responded to earlier PM's, though, so if anyone has not heard from me when they sent a PM please call six-five-ate-371too and I will answer any questions.
New Years Day OCT UJ
If you are planning on running the Upper with us tomorrow please plan on being at Reedy and ready to go well before noon. This will allow for chit-chat, gear check, boat loading, and any questions you may have.
If this is your "first time" down at this level or in really cold water please take the time to search out Tom, Brandon or me (Gene) so we can help you with expectations and address safety.
We will depart Reedy @ noon, to avoid having any mix-up with the group running the lower.
Please remember the water is very cold, dress approprately, make sure air bags are full, and that you have dry clothing at the take out.
If you have questions or concerns before hand, drop me an e-mail, as I'll be around most of today and tonight.
If you're out and about tonight, drink responsibily and drive safely.

Instant gratification takes too long.
I'm sorry to say Gromit and I will miss this one. It looks to be a good crew and plenty of water. Well done to David, Gene, Karl & Joann for keeping the tradition alive. Wait 'til next year! Have fun, dress warm and DRY, and have a happy new year!
