I'm also looking to paddle on friday, so if anyone is interested in a cheat or LY run, I'm interested. i'm driving up and looking at car-pooling up as well. one big caveat though, I just saw the LY is running at 3.7, so I'm not comfortable leading it at this level since it is bigger than I've been on it. just an idea, cheat would be great as well (although also a pfd)
Hey, you could bring your mountain bike and we could ride.
I suggest a compromise. This way, no one will be happy. I'll bring my mountain bike. Scoot, you run the UY with me and Guy and we'll go mtbing with you.

We'll have to look at the gauges in the am.
If you want in, meet at the Triple K at 11:00 am and be ready to go shortly after that.
See you @ 4:30'ish this afternoon.
Generally, I think that if I have the opportunity to paddle, and I've got something else to do or I feel like I shouldn't go for some reason, then I force myself to go and I always have a great time. So, I guess when in doubt -- Go, Paddle. -- Tommy Hilleke
Middle Fork of the Tygart....sweet, sweet run, sorry to miss that one, good level also. If I hadn't just left that area I'd be tempted to join ya'll, looks like fun to be had.

Mild threadjack here but I'll be in Baltimore next week working and up for paddling there. No particular plans but I ponied up the dues to the GBCC (Greater Baltimore Canoe Club) and have had some luck finding trips on the Gunpowder.
