I'm packing up to head to UK for a week. Wallace is being left behind. So, get your high water permits dusted off coz it will rain - a lot, and be warm
Enjoy
Can't swing the Tellico. What I CAN do is something in Virginia -- Like Goshen Pass for instance -- on Thursday. I have to meet our architect sometime that day, but if there's water available I'll plan my day around that.

“...And Lord, we are especially thankful for nuclear power, the cleanest, safest energy source there is. Except for solar, which is just a pipe dream.” Homer Simpson
GOSHEN PASS! GOSHEN PASS! Nelson county would be ok too...
I'm free Wednesday and Thursday mornings this week for anybody else with the oddball schedules or *cough cough* sickdays stockpiled
Turbo, its the North River below Staunton Dam http://americanwhitewater.org/content/R ... inGadget21 we’re putting in at the dam and taking out at the forest boundary just west of Stokesville. Its about 4 ½ miles which are continuous class III but since there is some wood and its fairly constant calling it III+ it drops about 250-300ft in those 4 ½ miles. Not 100% if it will run or not but with the amount of rain its looking hopeful
