Raft spot for wifey

Post by Paddle Daddy »

Looking for space on a raft on the LY, for my wife, preferably on Sunday (This way, I can take care of the little boy Sunday and earn my hall pass to PFD the UY on Saturday!). Let me know if you can accommodate this act of familial bonding and gender equality.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!

Grillmaster?

Post by Barb »

Anyone interested in helping out on the grill at Tall Oaks Campground for dinner on Saturday? Would love to have a couple people who like to flip burgers...

Also, be sure to call the campground to reserve a spot near our Pavillion.... (see above)

Barb put me down as a burger flipper. Do I need to bring my own flipper or will the club provide me with one?

burger flipping

Post by David »

I will not be paddling Saturday and will be glad to help out as I can with dinner. I will shuttle drivers from the LY takeout back to Ohiopyle Saturday and Sunday morning.

about camping

Post by Alicia »

I called Tall Oaks to make a reservation, & was told it wasn't necessary since Dave Kessmann made one for the group. He said just to tell them you're w/ Coastals when you arrive.

Thanks, Alicia. I've copied this text and posted it HERE to give a central place where folks can find (almost) everything about this event.
