Friends of Gauley River (Saturday after the Cookout)
Prior to 2005, the access at Summersville Dam was the only public boater access on the Gauley River. All other points were private. Thanks, Dave!
I'll be coordinating an O.C.T. Gorge trip both days. Stay tuned for a separate thread w/ details to come. First timers will be welcome and we'll need veterans for support.
Like Dave says, please consider coordinating another trip, especially on a section of the Upper New.

I've updated my novice/family trip to include options for rivers with smaller drainage areas since the NRG is starting to really get kicking right now. Its probably going to be a game time decision based on water level so stay tuned. I'm not anticipating the NRG to change much over the next couple days.
It would be really great if someone steps up to lead a creeking trip. Right now the usual suspects are pretty high (meadow, cranberry, etc.) but they might be prime for this weekend. Middle fork -> tygart is also running right now.
