I swam...

Let us know how it went! Swim confessions and carnage reports are welcome, but it's not fair to tell on your buddies!

I swam...

Post by gromit »

Great weekend! But I did swim!
I ran LG on Friday - thanks to the great guides I had a great run!
I then demo'd a Jackson Fun on Sat for NRG. Ran the whole river, decided to paddle back up to the run out of Fayette station to see if I could roll in current. Apparently I could not, a failed T rescue (thanks Brandon for trying), and out I came  Wallace towed me to shore - I know he was grinning the whole way.
I blame the demo boat!!!!! :D

Thanks everyone for food, shuttles, entertainment etc- it was awesome!
Oh, and Kessmann for organizing.

For the record, I DID NOT grin - until someone pointed out that this had to be my best paddling day EVAR! Then I grinned a little.

It was great to see you all out there. Thanks for camping, breakfast, shuttle and river guidance. See yous all real soon!

I can still hear the shrill of that whistle!!!!
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

It was the boat Liz. Karl demo'd a boat once on the Ocoee and then made me paddle it out cause it was "tippy"!
