Meeting at reedy at 9:30 to run the upper.

At 6ft, I am going to bag the lower and hit the upper. My first time in 3 months need not be a highish waster run.

I might be up for the 930 second lap on Sunday, if I can remember how to paddle

This really interests me as well. I would love to get my son involved with the club but he is still far too young for whitewater. A few shorter trips would be just the ticket to getting the younger set involved.

I will also pass along my thanks to Jim. I always have a great time on the Appy. If only I could get far enough left in Target Rock I will get that rapid one day. Who would have thought that I could run Hollywood and Pipeline on the James dry but Target Rock eats my lunch every time...

Is there still a 10am group or has it changed to 2pm?

I put it a notch below the lower James, but in places it is a but technical and narrow. It is really a great river and the really big rapid (Target Rock) has a "easier" sneak side.

I'm in for sure, maybe. It all depends on my wife's class schedule and if grandma will watch the kids.
