I need to be at Pony Pasture for a SWR class later in the morning. What time do you think things will wrap up with the kayak portion of the race?

I will be in Richmond Saturday morning and would like to get a group together to paddle fairly early. I need to be off the river by 11:30 am, so was figuring an 8:00 am meet at the take-out. Do I need a "river pass" at the predicted levels? Not sure what the criteria are.

I would like to paddle with you all. I have not done this run before, but comfortable on I/II. Ginny, any chance you can PM me with directions to the put-in? I will be coming from the Lake Monticello (C'ville) area and may stay down and camp at the State Park Saturday night.
