It’s a really fun day, and there is something for everyone to help with, whether you want to be in a canoe, help get the kids ready, or help sign up the kids at the booth. We need lots of volunteers.

Takeout may be iced over. Shenandoah River is iced over mostly or all from Newport all the way past Whitehouse and completely for about three miles before dam at Lee’s.

Yes, Ginny, thanks for all the herding of cats that you did to make this trip happen. We had 18 boats on the river - wow!
