Thanks for the report Nate. Forget the beach house on the Outer Banks, this sounds like the dream vacation to me. Congrats on the combat rolls, wish you could have loaned me a couple for the LY this past weekend!

Great trip Ken! Thanks for carrying on the NRR tradition. Though I was only able to make it up for one of the three days, I maximized that by paddling, elbow to elbow, and occasionally ear to thigh, with 5 other rafters. Captain Thurmonds is on Saturday too. The race starts at noon with the 12 mile bike leg. I am guessing that will put the participants on the river around 1:30. Not sure how many there will be, but I will be among them.
If there is anything left of me, I will join you on Sunday.

I will running/limping the Monument Avenue 10K in Richmond at 8 Saturday morning....would love to help with the clean-up, but will be late. What is the estimated drive time from Richmond to the trash extravaganza? and will there be a penalty for showing up just in time for lunch?
