Wilson Creek 12/2/06

Post by Dave K »

I?m likely headed to Wilson Creek Saturday for a day trip. I?m not 100% sure because:

1. It is still raining and I don?t want to get on it if it is too big boy
2. I have a fear of commitment

I will be looking at this gauge:

http://wilsonvisual.blogspot.com/

and would like it somewhere between -6? to +3?.

If interested, call: 804/651-0464 ? you don?t even need to be a member of the PBP or the CYA or the cool kid clique or have your own cage in the zoo to come! If you don?t get the inside joke, get an invite to the party here:

If you go do submit a trip report- work is dragging. So fire it up!

Dave when is your PR staff going to release your Big Hair Paddle Action Figure? Too bad production missed the Christmas rush!

Image

Sidebar:
What other Coastal members would make a good action figure? I definitely could see a Guy action figure with paddle props and the Corn Wagon. Hmmm should this be a poll?

1. Stop practicing being a kitty

2. DUH!
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Dave, this is a pro move. You've posted a really cool trip that, likely, no one will go on because it is too far away and too short and they are lazy - you get all of the credit but likely will have none of the headache AND it gets your post count up. It sounds like something Karl would do.

!!!BRILLIANT!!!

Barney, this is not why I posted this thread. I put this up there to let folks know what I was doing and let them know that they were welcome to come. My therapist says that this will help me make friends and help the club seem more open and less zoo like and cliquish.

I must confess, though, I do like the action figure idea, though. Don't worry about missing the Christmas rush. There could be an "International Dave", a "Creeker Dave", a "Playboater Dave", a "Trip Coordinator Dave", and an "Instuctor Dave". Oh, wait - darn it! I've been sucked in by the peanut gallery and am jacking my own thread!!!!

We think these should be "Projectile Vomit Dave", "Scared Dave", and "Front Surf Dave". We don't have sm@rt@$$ names for "Trip Coordinator Dave", and "Instuctor Dave" but we will.

Uhhhh.....I have run it up to +6" and seen it a little over a foot.....and a little water goes a very long way in that place!

And with all the babes chasing the famous Dave K in pursuit of his affections.....why should he limit himself and deny all those anxious suitors???

Really - well have your team keep us updated on the plan. If my wife says ok and if my buddy Scooter will go I?m in. It would be nice to bag this run after talking about it for three years.

Is it far from here? I'd like to get some footage for the video. No carnage.
