Night paddle???

Post by Montster »

Wonder where the fireworks will be set off from? On the river? Manchester wall area?

A night paddle might be cool way to see it.

they're shooting them from the lee bridge and the concrete pad on belle isle between the metal frame building and walkway, they want to clear out belle isle starting at 5pm and close it, the lee bridge, the pedestrian walkway and the river (pool above vepco levee). lots of luck trying to keep people restricted in the dark

I am thinking about taking a small cooler (for soft drinks of course....) and chairs to the floodwall on the southside. Planning to park under Manchester Bridge where the climbers park to climb Manchester Wall.

Should avoid the chaos on the northside of the river and still have good views of the fireworks.

Makes for easy access to Legend's thereafter.....
