New to Group Paddling

Post by A.Orton »

Hello!
I am a college student looking to get more involved in group paddling. I have been kayaking on and off for a few years nows and would like to try some more intense water before long. I do this for a fun upper body workout, so I am looking for a group that wants to have fun along with focusing on the physicality of it (not just a social gathering).

Just wandering if this is the right group for me to get involved with!

Thanks

I would say so. Welcome.

Not sure if you are out of Richmond or not but did you see this?

I also know of at least 1 person who paddles the lower james upstream on a regular basis (level permitting).

Hello A.Orten.

We are a big group with lots of sub-groups who mingle and mix it up depending a lot on geography and rain.

Where, roughly, do you live?
