OCT Aug. 10 Annual Seven Islands float trip

My water level prediction is 2000 cfs and clear which is good for August. I have run it at 600 cfs! We will paddle the center channel and lunch stop will be on the Big Island at the tree shaded beach adjacent to a body surfing rapid. Weather prediction for Saturday is 88 degrees and 30% chance of showers. This should be a quiet time on the river, as the Slate River quarry has closed as well as our ice cream place, the Restaurant By the River.

Trip open to single and double bladed paddlers. I need an accurate count for shuttle coordination of those coming as my van will not be available for shuttle. Post or phone 218 one two three Eight by Thursday 9:30 pm.

Meet at 10:00 am at the putin, Hardware River WMA and DGIF boat ramp.
This is a WMA fee area, whose meaning for boaters is not clear. I covered myself by buying a lifetime fishing permit, and I don't fish.
