JJ Sat 7/24 OCT Upper James Changed to 7 Islands

Post by JJ »

Due to low water on the James in Richmond I am changing the OCT trip that was scheduled for James Richmond Upper to Seven Islands section of the James

Here are the updated trip details for Saturday, July 24, 2021.
James River trip from Hardware to New Canton, also known as Seven Islands. We'll meet at the boat landing in New Canton at 10:30. Let me know who's coming please.

The Jackson River pulse release went today. The water increase should be at 7 Islands on Saturday. Good thinking JJ.

regrets, but I have to back out. I've been having asthma trouble all week (the wildfire smoke) and it doesn't look to clear in the next few days. I was hoping it would improve enough that I could paddle, but based on the way I feel now, it is not likely.

Have fun.
