NB Potomac Release this weekend, 8/22-23.

Post by dkeller »

3-5 of us from VA are looking to run the NB this coming weekend and looking for others to join in to run this fun Class 2-3 river.

Post, send PM, email, etc. if looking to go Sat and or Sun.

Hi Don.

We have a small group planning to run the North Branch Potomac, Barnum to Bloomington, on Saturday. There are a couple more who might be interested in Sunday but I'll let them chime in themselves if that comes true. All are quite capable paddlers. One is a first-timer who has paddled more difficult runs many times successfully.

Not crack-o-dawn for us as some will be driving there Saturday morning.

Care to combine groups?

Cheers,

Ken,

I may well be as my group is 1-2 and one of them is Judge who posted on the other thread for this release.

If people paddling both days I may well come up. Long drive for me (over 4.5 hours) so prefer to do both days and I would also be coming up on Sat AM.

Please post or PM, etc. as you get details.

Thanks a lot.'

Regrets but the Sunday Bloomington possibles didn't pan out. Our group will still be running it on Saturday if anyone is interested.

Regrets, our possibles for Sunday at Bloomington are out. I get it that it's a long way to go for one day of paddling but you remain welcome on Saturday.

Ken,

I appreciate the thought and the invite but nearly certain I will pass since just too much driving for 8 miles or so of river even though it is a fun low stress run.

Good luck and thanks again.

Hi Ken

Any chance I can hop on your trip? Sounds like Don's trip just cratered.

Not so much cratered as I would have driven up on my own for two days of paddling but for only one day is just not worth it.

Hopefully you all have a good run
