Just to clear up concerns the Lower section is the section below the Gorge and not the Class V section. We will put in where the Gorge paddlers take out.

We are leaving Roanoke Fri morning and will check messages before we leave. Don't have a smart phone so can't access the internet after I leave home. See you in the parking lot by the restaurant at the Breaks Park Sat morning.

My daughter and I have been skunked on our plans to do the Lower Gauley, so I hope you wouldn't mind some late entry paddlers. Our plans are still developing, so I will call John to confirm one way or the other.
We will either drive in on Saturday morning or stay with family near to Breaks, so we will not be camping either Friday or Sat. I know John won't see this, but I hope others will see and pass info along. - Thanks!
