See, we need this kind of humor (and pork products) at the cabin, player! Don't make me beg, bro.

Another valid point. Hmmmm.......
I was referring to the couple pounds of raw, unrefridgerated ground beef that went in the garbage can at NRG; how'd that work out after making it home in your treasure chest?

Time out. To my rcollection, it had been in a cooler or was frozen and had merely thawed but was still cold when I got it. Additionally, iit was not IN the garbage can but headed towards it. Feel free to challenge those statements but that is how I remembered it. I certainly did not go dumpster diving for it.

Unfortunately, gettign dinner free for a week makes me angry.

This confuses me...

Anyway, if there's enough II/III stuff going on, I might go for this kind of trip, but I know I can't hang with the big boys yet on the III/IV.

It sure would be nice to have step up and put together some II / III trips on this! I know it's too soon to really know abou the water or the weatehr, but something to think about. I'm more than happy to give ideas on what rivers to run and how to get to them.

I'm up for II/III stuff. I was thinking about bringing my "new" Pirouette S and old-skooling it on Saturday for the race at a non-race pace, then maybe running it (or other stuff I don't know well) Sunday. Anyone else?

Hovering above the rim??
Envelope – Free stationary taken from the Marriott while on a business trip.
Snowflake address label – sent to me free and had to be used up.
Stained glass stamp – It was more then three feet away from me when I decided to get them so you know I didn’t see them clearly
Butterfly and Sunflower stickers on the back – Also free and required because the glue on the envelope was so old it no longer stuck.

Moi.

I was hoping someone else would be interested in the race. As to the "non-race pace", I think you could probably surprise yourself and kick some serious West By-God Virginia a**. Ain't nothin' wrong with a little competition!

I will try to drum up some MAPA interest.

Dave,
I'm probably going but will be kitty-ing it up at the hotel. If I can swing it, I'll try to borrow someone's creek boat (that's a hint to anyone out there with a spare SMALL creeker!). If not, I'll just tear it up in the ZG again.

Dude, you better spend some time paddling that creek boat before you try to fire that thing up on something semi big boy. That is, unless you want to make it in the 'carnage / beat down' section of the video contest this year.

what can i say, corn gotta stick together. And, yeah I agree bout the creeker. Though ANY camera love (even carnage love) is better than NO camera love... I just got an offer to borrow a boat, and will try to take it downtown james a few times before the trip. that oughta do it, i hope.
