I'm down with this plan. (I'm not sure if that makes it four or if I'm one of the three.)Monster wrote:So far there are three of us that are confirmed for boating on Friday. Join us for a long weekend.
Are you guys really going to run the II / III race course thing on Friday? Although I hear there are some good front surfing spots on it, I'm concerned that it will be a violation of my contract if I do something like that if something else good is running.
Don't know what we are running but nothing says cool like a boater that appreciates ALL levels and styles of paddling.Dave K wrote: Are you guys really going to run the II / III race course thing on Friday? YAY! We now have 4 for friday. Can I get a fifth.
Perhaps a 5th & 6th (Ken & me) - we'd probably just come up Fri am. I agree w/ appreciating all sorts of paddling, tho I am partial to the Cranberry.Monster wrote:

As for Buffalo Ck, Dave - don't knock it. It nearly swallowed our pal, Justin. Nothing to snear at. Actually, it's too bad the bridge work messed w/ the rapids there.

Webster Spring's Cabin
There may be two more of us interested in the cabin. I asked for the time off but won't get my schedule until next week. If I can get off Lee Keller and I plan to come out and would try and get there to paddle on Fri. The last time we paddled there we were caught in a hail storm. Another reason for wearing helmets when you canoe.

Stan, let me know.Stan Heatwole wrote:There may be two more of us interested in the cabin.
IF everyone who has expressed an interest actually shows (which will probably be water dependent), then I'm going to to ahead and say that the cabin is now "full" and am going to start a waiting list. (I've had about 15 people express interest.)
I'll join you
I would like to join ya'll for the III-IV trips that weekend. I'd definetly be down with paddling on that friday if something tasty has water (i.e. cranberry, back fork, etc). I'll worry about where I'm staying later. Probably going to just take my tent.
