Wed Afternoon Blue Ridge

Looking to paddle something this afternoon in the Albermarle, Greene, Madison, Rappahanock area (Moormans, Robinson, Hughes, etc.). Let me know if your interested. Could also be game for Thursday morning.

Heads up: A group of us had issues w the landowner at the Millington take out yesterday. He was okay w coastals members crossing his property, but wants to know in advance. I forgot his mail box number, last name ids Davis, but thats where he wants a note left to say your on the river. Apperantly he owns the property on either side of the bridge and considered it trespassing. Pass it on as I believe he is in the right.

Here we go again.
His name is Jasper P. Davis. I actually have a file about it dating back to 2004. There is some history here which I don't have the energy to go into right now.
My unofficial recommendation is to park on downstream river left with wheels slightly off the pavement. Takeout on river right, take a peek first re above or below the bridge, it's been a while, not sure which is better, and carry across the bridge.
Do not block the downstream river right driveway gate even for a moment.
Enjoy the run, it really is nice.
