Hey Guys and Gals, I'm off all week and want to get on some local runs around c'ville. With Tuesday's prediction of 1-2" of rain over the entire mid to western portions of the state and the already saturated ground that shouldn't be an issue. Rapidan, Piney, Tye, Goshen(if others don't run) and what ever suggestions I can get from there. I'm free from tomorrow thru Friday.

I am interested in paddling some of these runs. I also have the entire week off
and would like to paddle some rivers west of Richmond. Other than Goshen, most of the runs will likely be a PFD for me.
Ok, so tomorrow in Goshen area is calling for freezing rain in the morning then normal fall as the storm moves through. Nothing else except RVA is running. Wednesday morning will be a different story. I've got three definites off the forum and with this interest I will keep everyone posted. Dry suits have to be one of the greatest inventions ever!

Ken, my boss(me) might be just as cool as your boss(you) so we should be safe to reserve paddle time throughout the area... BUT we sould also consider some alcoholic presents to them(us) for the leniency.
Matt, I'm paddling tomorrow thru Friday night SOMEWHERE.

Ken,
What could I paddle with you all? I gotta get back in time for dinner tomorrow so I could paddle as long as I'm off the river at a reasonable time.

My benevolent employer is not me. He is however also magnanimous and has generously granted me Wednesday off. Gromit and I have to travel to Rockbridge Baths to check construction of our new house. Goshen is likely to be STOMPIN! Maybe the Tye or Bullpasture will be up? Keep the info flowing on this thread. We're watching and waiting.

I'm interested in Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, however, I need to be home at 5 on Thursday. I just paddled the Maury yesterday. Tye & Cranberry is at the top of my list. I'm sure whatever day I paddle will be the day I get an evening delivery of my new dry suit.
