weekday paddlers-Maury

Post by Dake »

Some wild numbers are starting to show up on the guages. I am posting for the maury tomorrow now in hopefull speculation. Meet at the post office at 1;00, and depending on levels decide what section to run. This trip, as all others in our paddling range, may have a expedition like quality. If the creek in front of my house is any sort of indicator there is a LOT of new wood out there. Be carefull out there.....Dake

Be careful out there...

this was posted to Facebook (thanks, David!):

Wood in Kitchen, on right side. It is wedged on the big rock in the first S-turn behind House rock. It might flush but was there on last lap with river rising. Make sure you take a look at it. Also the run out of the last rapid goes into a downed tree, watch out for it in the A.m with the level rising.

Looks like around three grand for tomorrow. I think I will go on the Balcony trip, and revisit this tomorow night...

Hey Dake, Do you think the Maury will still be running on the weekend?
