Join us on the James River on Sunday, June 23. We'll do Hardware to New Canton, meeting at the take-out in New Canton at 10:30. Let me know if you'll be coming.

Shorn & I are planning to paddle Seven Islands Sunday.
We're camping at James River St Park for the weekend, thinking about the paddling the lower Tye on Sat, but I'll start a new thread for that.

The James is high. I paddled this section with the batteau on Thurs & it was fast & completely washed out. However, the level is coming down fast so the trip is on. It will still be a high water run but should be fun. We'll meet at the take-out in New Canton at 10:30. Let me know if you are coming.

My wife and I are interested in joining. When do you think we'll be done? We have tentative plans late afternoon/early eve.

My best guess is that we'll be off the river by 2:00 & will need another hour to go back & get cars.
