If you're staying in town this weekend & want to paddle the upper James, we're meeting at Reedy Creek at 10:30. Let me know if you'll be coming.

I cant make it tomorrow, but i'm curious about the put in. Is that the Riverside Meadow Park just below Z-Dam? Are you putting in there so you can run all of Pony Rapids without having to walk all of your boats up from the Pony parking lot? Is there parking at the Meadows or do you drop gear and one person walks up from Pony?

Yep, we're talking about the same Meadows. There's no parking there so we drop boats & park at Pony & walk back up. I guess kayakers could walk up with their boats but it's hard for canoers to carry those boats.

We're shaping up to have a good group- we have 11 so far. Should be a great day!
