UJ or LJ Today (Thursday 6/5) After Work

I'd like to paddle this afternoon/evening if anyone is interested. This is only my second summer on the water and will be my second run this summer.
I can run the lower if someone is patient and will guide me through the lines. Otherwise, I can run the upper with ease. I'm free to meet 3PM or later.

I'm a newbie too....1st summer for me - I've done Velzy's beginning WW class / a playday (we ran UJ at 8 feet) / a few other UJ runs / a bunch of park and play at Pony Pasture - I'm down if we can get some experienced <strike>suckers</strike> kindhearted souls to show us the way.

I don't mind showing you guys down at 3pm if you have a reliable roll. Greg it sounds like you should be good to go. Brad you might want to get some more days on the water before paddling the lower, but I leave it up to you. We will definitely scout Hollywood, and it might be best for both of you to portage that one at this level, but we can talk about that on the river.

I don't have a bullet-proof roll, but I paddled the Lower 4-5x last summer (between 3.5-5.5 ft), including Hollywood. I'm pretty comfortable as long as there's a group around!
However, if more people want to run the Upper, I'm cool with that too. I just want to get in the water

Im in for the upper free anytime after 3pm. Wanting to run the lower just not sure Im ready.

Why don't we run the upper since that's the majority preference. I'd prefer more paddlers than less. What time can everyone meet at Reedy?
