OCT Rockfish River, Sunday, April 19
The plan is the Rockfish River, meeting at the put-in at the wayside on Rt 29. Currently the river is too low, but with this week's rain, I'm hopeful. If it doesn't come up, the back-up plan will be the Shenandoah, Newport to White House Landing (the bluebells are in full bloom there). I'll make a definite decision on Friday. Let me know if you are interested.

*edit* I have directions to the Rockfish takeout, anyone have an address to the Shenandoah takeout? ***
I want to be in the loop too. Can I get directions to the takeouts/ meeting locations for both of those runs in the pinned thread? I need to figure out how far they are from RVA for a day trip.

We are on for the Rockfish. We'll meet at the put-in for the Rockfish at 10:30. The put-in is the Nelson Co Wayside on rt 29. Gabe, from Richmond take 64 west to the Charlottesville exit rt 29, go towards Lynchburg. For anyone coming that direction, cross the Rockfish and make a U turn as the wayside is on the left.

Yay, I'm in. For planning purposes anyone know roughly how many river miles it is and how much time on the river to expect? Is it about the same as the Piney/Tye run in length?
