Plan ahead to join us on the Balcony Section of the James, near Glasgow on Saturday, June 6th. We'll meet at 11 am at the put-in. Contact me or post if you plan to come. This is a Class II/III run - If you've never done this section, let me know.
Keep an eye on this thread in the event something changes (I don't expect it to, but you never know!)

The trip's still a go. I don't see any spikes in river levels, altho don't know why, since we've had a week of rain....but I'm not a guage geek. If there are any out there that care to explain - or warn me, let me know!
See you Saturday!

I am interested in the Balcony trip on Saturday, June 6. Where and when is the meeting time? On gauges (sum of Buena Vista and Buchanan) it is now at 1500 cfs. I have done Balcony as low as 690 (passable, but a little boney) and as high as 2600 cfs, so 1500 should be good level.

I plan to go with a more local paddle on the Rivanna on Satureday.
