James River, Buchanan Sat Aug 1

Anyone want to paddle the Buchanan section of the James this Sat Aug 1?

Looks like recent rains have boosted the level of this section.
We'll put in at DGIF landing at Buchanan, take out at landing at Alpine.
This is a fun class 2 trip.
Please post today if interested.

We're planning to paddle Balcony on Sunday, will be camping in the area & wanted to paddle on Sat too.
Please post today if interested. We're leaving Va Bch Friday morning to drive to the mountains.

Just wonderinng When do u think we will be done? I have to leave the take out by 4?

This trip is about 10 miles, but river is a little higher than usual summer level.
If we meet in Buchanan at 9, then set shuttle, that should get you off river by 4.
We are leaving shortly to drive to the mountains.
