The James River in Richmond has an upper section (Pony Pasture to Reedy Creek) with class II rapids and a lower section (Reedy Creek to 14th St) with class III+ rapids. I am planning to paddle both sections (assuming sufficient interest). I will be meeting folks at the 14th St takeout at 10:30 a.m. (see map link below). Please let me know if you are planning to come and where you want to take out (upper only with takeout at Reedy or both sections with takeout at 14th St). See you on the river.
