Official Club Trip (OCT) for Sat, Jan 27 will be on the Upper & Lower James River in Richmond. Meeting at 10:00 a.m. at 14th St take-out.
Please let me know if you are planning to come and, if so, what parts of the river you’re wanting to paddle. We’ll make logistic decisions once we know who’s coming and what they want to do. I will be out of contact until late Tuesday. I can answer questions after that.
Rapids are rated class I-II for upper section (Pony Pasture to Reedy Creek) and class III-IV (Reedy Creek to 14th St).

I'm thinking of doing just the upper, based on the river level forecast. If it drops would probably do both.
