Just for the record - after a long winter.

PADDLING IS THE GREATEST SPORT!!!

Man it was great to be back on the water. I pledge this year to develop a bomb-proof roll and be able to surf. And I don't care if it cost me my job to do it (well, I think that is pushing it a bit).

We are making progress on the whitewater park plan down here. I hope to have news for y'all over the next month or two on the construction timeline.

It was a fun afternoon. Several of us made use of the newly completed put-in, while others preferred the otter slide down the bank.

At 3 feet on the gauge, Blackwater has several fun small side surfing holes, with a couple of good 360 spots. I got in a few 360's while hand paddling.
