Lower James Friday Afternoon

2 pm or later?
I have a buddy who hasn't kayaked in several years. He did then only several times in Class III/IV and he's still interested even though he was pinned underwater once. Has high lung capacity and little fear of water+rocks. No roll. I will only take him if it's under/around 6 feet.
Anyone want to go with us? Here he is:

PS - if you have photos of you with a mullet, please bring them. I think we need a mullet contest. I'm looking for my old femullet photos.

I may make it over, from C-ville if you all don't mind my joining you.
I have done/ swam some rivers I had no business being on. I have a strong roll now. Paddled the Nantahala and middle Ocoee, a few weeks ago it will be nice to not have to drive 7+ hours to paddle. Its good to finally have some rain.

I can't go today, but I'm going tomorrow and sunday. We may do the whole thing. Meeting at 3:45pm on saturday and 3:00pm on sunday. Let me know if you go again this weekend.
