this river packed a LITTLE punch today. the wildlife & wilderness setting notwithstanding, the whitewater was fun. i scouted the little river early this AM & it is running. check out the photos...thx to dkeller for requesting pix. anyone interested in a late afternoon/early evening run on this one or the south anna?

What's the strainer situation? Used to be lots of blown down trees across the river.

all of the blow downs are washed out at this level. there are a couple of strainers to watch out for, but they're avoidable. the right hand sneak is running though a little scaly at the bottom falls. the answer to dave's trivia question is northern hanover county.
