Could you help me where can I rent an equipment here.
My phone number is: 804-525-0146
www.froccs.hu is my web site. Check this out!
Best regards,

Hogy vagy? Üdvözöljük a Richmondba
(that's about how far my Hungarian goes)
How long will you be here? I'm not sure where to rent gear, but I have a wavesport ezg50 that i'm going to trade up for a larger play/river running boat.
ezg50 . My joints don't like being squeezed into that boat anymore. You are welcome to buy, borrow, or rent it (depending on what works for you). I also have a micro creek boat if you want something bigger. I may have an extra sprayskirt too. I don't have an extra paddle, helmet or pfd. You'll have to look around for those.
Where do you paddle in Hungary? Do you go to Slovakia or Slovenia? My cousins from Croatia usually went to Slovenia for good whitewater.

Hey Attila! I was one of the boaters you talked to on Saturday afternoon. I'd bet we can get enough gear together for you to get on the river. Before you paddle the downtown section, you need to be ready for Class III whitewater. I have an extra boat, paddle, and spray skirt. You'd need a helmet and PFD (life jacket). I believe the next time I'll be on the river will be Saturday, 2/28. Hope to see you there.

Welcome Attila! Hope you can find some folks to paddle with and get you all the gear you need, including some cold weather clothing. Hey, from your website it looks like you paddle inflatable kayak, or is it hard plastic kayak too? Do you prefer playboats, creekers or long old school? You could try out my Super Sport. I'd offer to help more but I'm not paddling right now plus if Dave's offering gear, you probably won't fit in my stuff.

Have fun while you're here!

Hi, everybody,
Thank you for help me. And the offered gear.
Now I stay here till 15 of April. Than I have to go back because our season is beginning. In Hungary there isn’t any white water therefore we go every weekend to Slovenia (it is 6 hour by car ) and weekdays to Slovakia.
NeatoMan:
If your cousin go to Slovenia next time give him my contact (it is my website) we can paddling together.
Wallace:
Ok I understand to you. But I have been paddling class III for 10 years. If on Saturday I saw the downtown section (Hollywood rapid), it will be good for me.
This is the hardest place where I have ever been:

On 2/28 I hope we can meet.

My guests use an inflatable canoe and raft. If need I’m a guide with raft or inflatable canoe but most time I’m a safety kayaker with a plastic boat.
My first kayak was a Wigo

and now I use a Riot Thunder

The date may shift to 3/1, but I'm sure we can get you the gear you need to get on the river. Look for another post around Thursday. See you on the river!
Anybody have an adult medium to large PFD and/or a helmet for Atilla? He's about my height but not so big around. Maybe 180 lbs at most.

You can borrow my ezg50 for the time you are here. I'm ~6ft, 185lbs (182cm, 84kg). A little on the big side for my EZG50. I have a large and medium sprayskirt. One of them should fit you. I got a small head so I doubt my helmet will fit, and my extra pfd is a 12 year old extrasport old school pfd. You probably don't want to get caught wearing it.

Attila / Wallace,
I've got a ProTec Ace helmet that you guys can borrow. It's a plastic shell, but it's saved my head several times in H'wood! Still got the fit kit so Attila can customize his fit. Let me know if you need it.
