after work LJ Run

I am not your typicall Richmond Kayaker. I like to walk with my kayak. I think I learned this from years of walking up the C&O Canal in DC

I park at the Tredager lot then hike up to the top of Belle. Then run all the way to pipline and hike back up to the car.

I do this because it takes less time and I do not have to count on anyone for anything. I can paddle/play at my own pace and I do not have to worry about shuttle.

Also it takes less time.

Oh, it makes kayaking a bit more of a work out. Just running the LJ does not really provide me much of a work out. While the hike with my kayak still does not make up for it, it is better than nothing

Anyway, I plan on being at Tredigar around 5:30
