If the gauge is correct White Top Laurel in Damascus is running. If it stays up for Fri, 8/21, I would like to get up a trip. Anyone interested.

god love the white top laurel. im from bristol, but im in richmond, if it rains down that way like it has been ill be down the weekend after this. it is race weekend down there so there will be alot of traffic, and hotels/campgrounds will be booked, unless you rough camp it off the AT or in grayson highlands, or mt rogers, totally recommended.

False alarm. Seems the gauge is off according to the local reidents. Maybe another time
