Jenny Wiley and I merged groups and moved both our scheduled Maury trips to the James at Balcony Falls. We enjoyed a gang of around twenty boaters on Saturday, April 18. We had the expected moderate water level and it was my first t-shirt boating day of the year as it was unseasonably warm. The water was not all that cold as a few found out through the technique of unplanned rapid immersions. Nary a bruise was reported and gear was rounded up quickly.
