Quarterly Balcony with photos

Saturday found around twenty-five or thirty of us milling about at the put in at Glasgow trying to not seem organized at all. We accomplished this goal quite handily by employing a mix of chaos and swarm theories. With zero leadership but a general goal in mind we all managed to pull off the trip with no casualties that I know of and no skeletons left at the take out (I checked). We had a few hiccups shuttle-wise but it worked out.
We had a few first-timers on the run who were also, I guess, first-timers in the club. Nice to meet new folks.
[And note, while keeping it low-key, we were keeping an eye on you guys.]
It was an unusually clear and low humidity day -- so much lush green without the haze. We tend to take the Balcony run for granted and forget how pretty it is. The water was low but quite doable. The combined flow from the James and Maury (idea stolen from Mr. Bernard) was around 875 cfs. Some mild play is available at that level but you have to look for it and have some imagination.

Good fun,
