Lower James this Weekend?
I'm coming back to town to visit the family and was hoping to get on the lower at some point this weekend. Looks like most are headed out to the yough but is anybody staying local and want to paddle? -Shannon

I may join the 9:30 run. But may just do some park-n-play hiking up and down pipeline. My thumb is still super scabbed from an incidental roll in hollywood last weekend, and dragging nuckols for a while on river bottom..
If not, anybody plan on hanging at and around pipeline for any extent of time after either run?

Did you know that it will be 106 deg on Saturaday?
You brain will swell, you sight will not be focused, and you will see rocks where there are none. Some call this Heat stroke. If you quite sweating you are introuble.
Now if Shawn has my boat reedy in the morning then I could take a 6 am trip down the LJ.
