Thanks, Peter L
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW What a ride! . . . . . Trying to live up to this, Priceless. As long as you have good insurance!
Great Sarah. You'll love the LY!Sarah Johnson wrote:I'd love to go on Saturday. Do you still have passes? This will be my first time down... I'm in an open boat. Thanks!
Wow look at all the Open Boats on this trip.
So how about some more Kayakers to balance this thing out.

If your coming for breakfast, then come to the campground by 8:30.joe422 wrote:Awesome! Thank you! I got the reply but thought itd just be easier to post on here. Should I just try and find you at the campground then Saturday morning?
If not, just be at the Put in by 9:45. I will be in the MangoVan (big white ford van). We'll run a drivers shuttle then.

Thinking mid to upper sixties this time of year? Maybe higher?Barb wrote:A heads up for first timers - the water is cold - usually around 58?
I recall my first time, in June I think, freaking out that everyone in the parking lot was donning wetsuit stuff and I had brought zero thermal gear. As it turned out I was rolling to cool off by the end of the day. In summer months I've found it to be refreshingly cool. If you chill easily then you should bring a bit of protection.
