Hey Alicia do you know what's up with the Rockbridge Gauge? Noticed it was reporting low, figured it was about almost 1000cfs off.

A few of us are departing Richmond at 8. Let me know if you are interested in carpooling.

Ya that goes down quick. I'm paddling tomorrow. Would like to hit some creeks up but Goshen is my backup as well.

The gauge is not reporting low - the river is just dropping faster than expected, even w/ the 1.2" precip I got yesterday. I guess the ground soaked it up or the boy scout lake/dam is messing w/ the level. The visual on the bridge gauge @ 5:30pm was about 2'2" which used to correspond to about 3.3' USGS, so it's not far off. (Approx 1000 cfs & currently USGS is 945cfs.)

Will still be fun this wkend.

P.S. the roads are ok - but watch for slick spots. Will be cold if you're boating before late afternoon.
