Come one, come all! Spectate or Compete in the Inaugural Goshen Pass Rolling Rodeo!

People of Goshen, UNITE!!!!

Put away the creekboats, and bust out that playboat, because it's time for an edge-stompin', rock-splattin', free-wheelin' ROLLING RODEO at Goshen Pass. We all spend some time getting vertical and scraping plastic at Goshen, and now it's time to do it RIGHT. The rules are as follow:

-Bring whatever boat you'd like, be it your dad's RPM, your Uncle's Session, or your little brother's Project X; any boat you think you can get vertical and lay some steez down with, bring it. Meet at High Noon at the Rockcrusher put in with your shuttle set.

-We'll have several events judged by a panel of local boaters. The events *may* include: Wigwam Wall Splats, Secret Splat, Devil's Kitchen Downriver Freestyle, Laurel Run Wave, Corner Rapid Freestyle, Grandpa Wave + Wall Rapid, Indian Pool Wavewheels. Final spots dependent on water levels and judge's discretion. Additional prize categories: Move of the Day, Competitor's Choice, Best Beatering/Carnage.

-Scores will be judged subjectively based on style, type, and number of tricks for each run. Up to 10 points may be earned from each judge at each spot. Don't get too caught up with the scoring... there are no sponsors, the only prizes we have are bragging rights until next time. This is more about a gathering of friends, having a blast on one of Virginia's finest rivers, and taking as slow a lap as possible.

Let's close out Goshen season the right way, bring your friends, bring your family, and let's celebrate doing it old school on the river that we all love. See you Sunday!
